Chemist Warehouse – Storeroom Shelving Upgrade

Need

Chemist Warehouse Shepparton required a new shelving system to safely and efficiently store medicine. Their existing setup consisted of old, homemade timber shelving that lacked the strength to support heavy stock and did not comply with current safety regulations. With a compliance deadline set by the Victorian Pharmacy Board for the end of May, the Chemist Warehouse team contacted All Storage Systems to deliver a compliant, reliable, and timely solution.

Solution

Following an initial consultation by phone, Tyler from the All Storage Systems sales team conducted an on-site visit to assess the storage space and better understand the types of products that needed to be stored. This allowed for a tailored solution that maximised the available area.

Based on the site visit, the recommended shelving solution included:

2 runs of Alstor Longspan Shelving, each measuring 3500mm (H) x 3780mm (L) x 450mm (D), with five timber shelf levels per bay.
1 bay of Alstor Longspan Shelving, 3500mm (H) x 1020mm (L) x 450mm (D), with five timber shelf levels.

To ensure complete understanding of the space utilisation, Tyler provided a detailed 3D drawing, giving the Chemist Warehouse team a clear visual of their improved storage layout.

Outcome

The All Storage Systems team managed the entire process, from dismantling the old shelving to installing the new Longspan system. The project was delivered quickly and well ahead of the compliance deadline. The Chemist Warehouse team is thrilled with the outcome and is now benefiting from a safer, more efficient storeroom.
