The need

The reception area at Fryers St Campus is a beautiful space full of natural light and is a natural hub of the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE.

The Campus boasts world class facilities that reflect real life situations for students including a Day Spa & Hair Salon, Library, Commercial Kitchen, Bakery and Restaurant, plus Automotive and Engineering workshops.

The reception lounge is a busy place for students and staff and needed to be both functional and welcoming to the many people who visit and use the area every day.

The solution

Senior Staff at Go TAFE approached All Storage Systems to supply reception furniture that would create a welcoming, vibrant space for the many current and prospective students enrolled at the institute as well as members who take advantage of the services offered by the students onsite.

The space also needed to be functional as it is where the administration of the institute takes place and is a go-to for students needing information on services and facilities.

The outcome

By incorporating a range of different products the end result is inspiring and invites visitors to linger and utilise the space. Â With inviting armchairs and space saving beam seating the waiting area is warm and inviting. The standout to the area though are the high Acti stools which provide informal work and meeting areas. Overall the outcome is successful with the furniture perfectly suiting the bright and welcoming space of the Fryers St Reception Area.
