JDK in Shepparton had a coolroom that they were looking to maximise their storage space in. The coolroom was long but not very wide. They wanted enough space to store a bulk amount of goods while also providing adequate aisles for their forklifts. Unsure of how to best fitout the coolroom, JDK contacted All Storage Systems for assistance in designing a storage solution that would allow them to maximise their storage space.

Solution

To ensure that they had a good understanding of the space and JDK’s requirements, the All Storage Systems teams conducted a site visit of the space to gain a visual understanding. After multiple site visits and many conversations with the client, the All Storage Systems team were able to come up with a pallet racking design that would allow JDK to efficiently maximise their storage in the space. This design included 4 rows of racking with 2 back to back rows in the middle, which would provide JDK with sufficient storage space while ensuring that there was still plenty of room for their forklifts to manoeuvre.

Outcome

The installation of the pallet racking has allowed JDK to successfully maximise their storage space and allowed them to efficiently store a bulk amount of goods in the smaller space.
