Djirra – Office Fitout

Djirra is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that provides supports to Aboriginal women and Aboriginal people who are currently experiencing family violence or have in the past.

With locations throughout Victoria, the team at Djirra were opening a new office in Shepparton and required a full office fitout. The project included fitting out office spaces, meeting rooms, kitchen and reception areas. Practicality and ergonomics were important to the Djirra team, and acoustics were an additional consideration.

Djirra contacted our experienced sales team to provide a proposal for their new fitout requirements. When access to the new office was available, Tyler met with a member of their team to assess the space to ensure we were providing the most suitable solution.

The team at Djirra chose ergonomic Mazie Task Chairs and Boost+ Electric Height Adjustable Desks with a natural oak top and black frame. The Boost+ range is our most popular height adjustable desk solution, featuring a dual motor system, digital controller with three presets and safety features.

Black Deluxe Metal Pedestals were selected to provide plenty of storage, helping to keep desks free from clutter.

The meeting spaces were fitted with Deluxe Flip Top Boardroom Tables, comfortable Wilmer Mesh Back Visitors Chairs and durable Vision Porcelain Whiteboards.

For the reception space, we provided modern and comfortable black Plaza Reception Lounges in 1 and 2 seat styles.

AcoustiQ Pinboards were provided throughout the space to reduce noise, increasing focus and improving wellbeing. A standout feature of this project was the custom designed acoustic panel featuring the Djirra logo.

In addition to providing office furniture and acoustic solutions, Djirra asked us to source and install kitchen appliances so their space was truly move-in ready. A stainless steel fridge and dishwasher were supplied to complement the fitout and complete the space.
